Wednesday, February 4, 2026 marked a monumental day for our talented student-athletes as they took the next step in their academic and athletic careers. Their incredible achievements and bright futures were highlighted as they officially signed with the colleges of their choice. Congratulations to these amazing athletes: baseball player Jake Delaquil, basketball player Ryan Gov, baseball player Noah Johnson, softball player Sadie Sievers, and baseball player Drew Slevcove.
Jake Delaquil plays baseball and signed with the United States Air Force. Delaquil has been a three-year letter earner, Empire League Champion of 2024, and Crestview League Champion of 2025.
Ryan Gov plays basketball and signed with Azusa Pacific University. Gov is a four-year letter earner. In 2023, he was 3rd team All-Orange County, and in 2024, it was the 2nd team. Gov was also the team MVP of 2025 and the second person obtain an all-time career scorer with 1500+ points.
Noah Johnson signed with Cal-State Fullerton, is majoring in kinesiology, and plays baseball. Johnson is a three-year letter earner and in 2024 was an Empire League Champ and 2nd team all-league. Then, in 2025 became the Crestview League Champ and was named league MVP. His advice is to “Keep working hard, even if you feel like you’re stuck, you just need to keep working every day and get over that hurdle.”
Sadie Sievers plays softball and signed with Azusa Pacific University. She was named rookie of the year as a freshman and is now a four-year letter earner. Sievers is a three-time all-league and was a league champ in 2023 and 2025. Her advice to other student athletes is that, “There’s a lot of ups and downs, but it’s who you surround yourself with and how you come back from slumps and injuries that matters.”
Drew Slevcove plays baseball and signed with UC Santa Barbara. Slecove noted, “I’m very excited to see what my future holds.” He is a two-year letter earner and obtained Top 10 in season for career saves. In 2025, Slevcove obtained his first team all-league and became a Crestview League Champ.
