A newly-formed club, 4 Their Service, plans to spread awareness about veterans and show appreciation to the people who worked to keep us safe. Club members will meet up most Tuesdays during lunch in room 236, led by club president Christine Kim and club adviser Ross Geerdes. During these meetings club members will make small gifts and cards, and even write letters. Students will also learn more about the events and the history behind these veterans’ lives.
The main goal of club members is to give students more knowledge about historical events focused on veterans. The club plans to attract new members by making cards in a community for a good purpose. Some advice from club president Christine Kim to new members is: “this club is very comfortable and not too time-consuming and you can get many benefits from joining!”
If you want to bring comfort to those who served in the armed forces, 4 Their Service is the club for you.
