Top 5 Fortnite Crossover Skins

by Jonathon Rice, Staff Writer

Fortnite, the cross-platform video game, has had a lot of crossover skins. Some were loved, and others not so much. These crossovers have ranged from “Rick and Morty” to “Stranger Things.”  So here is a top 5 ranking of the best skins out of all the collab skins.

  1. We have Master Chief in the “Halo” series starting with number five.

This is in fifth place because “Halo” is one of the most loved video game series. This was a clever idea by Epic Games (the creators of Fortnite) because having a crossover with two popular video games increases popularity.

  1. Next in fourth place is Naruto.

The reason why this is in the fourth spot is that Naruto is one of the most commonly known and popular anime. Having a crossover from a video game to an anime is a great idea.

  1. The third rank goes to Goku.

For similar reasons to why Naruto is in fourth. Goku is slightly ahead of Naruto and in the number three spot because there were Goku-themed weapons implemented into the game that everyone can use.

  1. On our number two spot is Thanos.

He was added to Fortnite as a part of a temporary crossover in Chapter 1: Season 4. The reason why Thanos is in our number two spot is that he has his own abilities and only one person per match could be him. More importantly, though, he finally became an official skin in Chapter 2: Season 7.

  1. The top spot goes to Spider-Man.

Spider-Man is a Marvel superhero that was added in Chapter 3: Season 1 of Fortnite. He is ranked number one because Spider-Man is one of the most popular Marvel characters and adding him to Fortnite is a really smart move knowing that Fortnite is really popular as well. You couldn’t go anywhere without seeing a Spider-Man skin when it first came out.

Epic Games has good marketing ideas. They are intelligent and know how to add good crossover skins that make users happy.
