Students district-wide gathered for the show at 7 PM.
Anaheim Union High School District seniors from across the district gathered at Medieval Times on March 3rd to celebrate the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. The event included a three-course meal and a live show.

The night began when students arrived at 6:45 PM to get everyone checked in for the show, where they were given their own coordinated “house” colors. Once students were inside, they were met with the various souvenirs that could be purchased throughout the night. Around 7:00 PM, medieval guards escorted guests into the arena based on their house colors. Before the show began, the servers made their way through the aisles with tomato soup with a side of garlic bread, which would soon be followed by the main dish of a chicken leg, buttered corn, and baked potato. The vegetarian options included hummus paired with celery and carrot sticks.

As the show began, the audience was introduced to their knights; Cypress represented both red and yellow striped and blue. The show included stunts from the knights, galloping horses, and even a hawk that soared across the stage. Guests cheered for their respective knights’ as the battle ultimately resulted in victory for the blue knight.
While the event itself was successful for most students, it took planning. Senior Class President, Alicia Villegas said, “We’ve had a contract with them, we’ve gone with them for many, many years. So, the main process is kind of just to calculate how many people–because we only get a certain amount of seats that we have available to us.”
After many years of entertainment brought through Medieval Times, the tradition continues to spread smiles throughout AUHSD students every year.
